Camping Rules and Regulations
Welcome to Glen Echo Resort! We would like everyone to enjoy their stay and have a fun and safe vacation, so we have set up some rules to abide by. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
Glen Echo Resorts offers both RV and Tenting campsites.
The Resort is open from May 1st – October 15th, weather conditions permitting.
Bookings - Check-in time is 1 pm, Check-out time is 10 am. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.
Conduct - To promote the safety, welfare, and comfort of all campers, quiet time is 11 pm to 7 am daily. No music is permitted after 11 pm. In addition, the occupants of a site and/or their guests shall not disturb the peaceful enjoyment of occupants of other sites at any time. Violent or abusive language or behavior will not be tolerated.
Gate key - Upon arrival campers will be provided with a gate key for the property. Please call or check in with the office upon arrival, managers will let you into the property, upon departure please place your gate key in the yellow marked box outside of the gate on the left side of the road under the stop sign.
Campfires - Campfires must be in designated fire pits or containers specifically designed for that use and kept small. Adult supervision is mandatory, and fires must not be left unattended. Please extinguish all fires after use and abide by all fire bans, rules, and regulations. No campfires are allowed on the beach.
Fireworks/Firearms/Weapons – No fireworks are allowed on site. Absolutely no firearms or illegal weapons are allowed on Glen Echo Resorts Ltd. property at any time for any reason. No exceptions.
Pets – Please keep your pets leashed at all times except in the designated off-leash areas. You are responsible for the behavior of your pets and are required to pick up after them as well as be aware of other pets and respectful of other people. Please do not leave your pets unattended and never leave them in vehicles or trailers for any length of time due to the hot temperatures here in the Shuswap. No Dogs on the swim/main beach. The dog beach is at the Boat launch or in front of the Store/Office
No aggressive animals are allowed at Glen Echo Resorts and excessive barking will not be tolerated. Do not feed any wild animals.
Amenities and Equipment – Glen Echo Resorts bears no responsibility for personal injury to anyone or anything using the resorts and/or equipment. Please use all facilities and equipment for your enjoyment but do so safely and at your own risk.
Management – Glen Echo Resorts has full-time managers who are on-site at all times. Please contact management for any additional information regarding rules or regulations you may need during or before your stay, they are here to help. Contact management at any time in case of emergency or emergency services if applicable.
